The Thinker Statue
This man is naked, sitting on a stone, lowering his head and holding his chin in thought; his eyes are deep, and his brows are furrowed. Both arms are supported on the left leg. The already toned muscles now bulge tightly, revealing full lines. Although the sculpture shows a meditative state, it is also very dynamic. It’s uncomfortable to have two hands on the same leg. But this gesture gives the statue a sense of movement. It also shows that the man is fully immersed in his world, forgetting the discomfort of body twisting.
